En memoria de Steve

Hoy es un día muy triste, es el tercer aniversario del fallecimiento de Steve Paul Jobs. Con su marcha se fue tras él una grandísima parte de Apple. Ya que él lo era todo.

¿Que decir de Steve que ya no se haya dicho anteriormente? Era una persona única, fuera de lo común, tenía ese gancho que hacía que todo el mundo sintiera una enorme necesidad por sus producto, hacia de una cosa simple algo extraordinario, creo tendencias e hizo millones de cosas más.

Ya no es lo mismo las Keynote desde que no esta él, echamos en falta ese toque que le daba cuando llegaba al punto de "Una cosa más...".

Esperemos que siga permaneciendo esa esencia que dejo en Apple, la cual la llevo a la mejor empresa del mundo.

Para mí sinceramente tenía el gran deseo de poder conocerlo en persona, me hubiese encantado haber estado presente en alguna keynote o algunas de sus conferencias, como por ejemplo la de Standford.

Desde Secret Of iPhone queremos trasmitir nuestras condolencias a la familia Jobs.

Allá donde estes, espero que estés disfrutando viendo el legado que nos dejaste a todos.

Novedades iOS 8

Hoy hablare sobre todas las novedades que nos ha traído el nuevo sistema operativo que a lanzado Apple, el iOS 8.

Antes de nada decir los dispositivos en los cuales es posible realizar la actualización del sistema:

- iPhone 4s
- iPhone 5
- iPhone 5c
- iPhone 5s

Y logicamente los dos nuevos modelos de iPhone que han lanzado, que estarán a la venta en nuestro país a partir del día 26 de Septiembre, iPhone 6 e iPhone 6 Plus.

Con esto, lo que han hecho es por así decirlo de alguna manera, quitarse de el medio el iPhone 4.


El iOS 8 nos trae un montón de novedades, como por ejemplo:


Desde la barra de búsqueda de Spotlight, además de buscarnos cosas en nuestro iPhone, también nos muestra sugerencias de Internet, iTunes, App Store, entre otras muchas opciones.


Como podemos ver en esta foto, si escribimos "star wars", nos aparecen información relacionada con la palabra que hemos escrito. En este caso aparecen las pestañas Aplicaciones(juegos), App Store, Wikkipedia.

Dentro de la aplicación de cámara, podemos observar dos novedades. Una de ella, ya iba siendo hora de que Apple la pusiera en los iPhone, se trata del temporizador, no entiendo como no estaba presente en lo modelos anteriores. Y la otra novedad es la cámara "Time-Lapse", al igual que con el lanzamiento del anterior modelo lanzaron la opción de cámara lenta, esta es totalmente lo contrario. Gracias a "Time-Lapse" podemos tomar fotografías de un mismo objetivo en intervalos de tiempo predeterminados.

Otra gran novedad esta en la conexiones familiares en iTunes, ahora pueden estar conectados hasta 6 miembros en una misma cuenta, en la cual se puede especificar cada cuenta, como padres o como hijos, la de padres lógicamente no tendrán restricciones, pero la de los hijos si, les llegaran a los padres una notificación cada vez que sus hijos quieran comprar una App en la App Store. Esto lo que aumenta la seguridad en las compras de los más pequeños.

Apple también a roto su regla respecto a los teclados, antes lo se podía utilizar el de ellos, ahora viene configurado por si queremos ponerle un teclado que no haya sido diseñado por ellos. Lo cual nos da una amplia selección de teclados.

Y muy pronto podremos ver el ansiado "Continuity", el cual gracias al perfecta conexión entre iOS 8 y OS X Youmite, tendremos una internación prácticamente total entre nuestros dispositivos iPhone, iPad y Mac. En el cual gracias a dicha conexión, podremos contestar una llamada desde nuestro iPad o nuestro Mac, algo realmente innovador y que vamos a usar bastante, o al menos yo ;)

Cuando realicéis la descarga e instalación del iOS 8 en vuestro dispositivo, veréis tres app nuevas en vuestra pantalla las cuales son: Consejos, Podcasts y Salud.

Y por fin ha salido a la luz el producto más comentado desde hace unos años en la compañía cupertina. El "Apple Watch" (el esperado reloj). La gran noticia es que no saldrá a la venta hasta el 2015.

He decir antes de nada, que respecto a este producto existían muchas especulaciones, y las cuales ningunas han sido ciertas. La primera es el nombre del producto, se decía que sería el de iWatch. Y los modelos que habían aparecido hasta su presentación ninguno nos contaba que fuese de correa intercambiable, y que fuese ha existir tres modelos diferentes.

También decir, que el diseño que presentan los tres modelos son muy detallados, no deja ningún desperfecto a la vista, otra cosa sea el manejo que tenga, cosa que aún no sabemos de nuestra propia mano.

Aunque por lo que se ha podido ver en la Keynote, es muy rápido y manejable. Me ha sorprendido mucho el uso que le han dado a la coronilla del reloj.

Desde aquí podemos hacer zoom y manejarnos por los menús.

Otra cosa que resaltar del Apple Watch es la infinidad de cosas que podemos hacer con el.

Desde coger una llamada, un mensaje, un email, pintar, usarlo como talk-walk, gps, calendarios, manejar nuestro Apple Tv, y un larguísimo etc.

Si nos llaman podemos contestar sin problema y si vemos que la llamada se va ha alargar podemos traspasar la llamada a nuestro iPhone, o si por el contrario no queremos contestar a la llamada, podemos silenciar esta desde el sin problema alguno.

El Apple Watch cuenta con un novedoso sistema de carga, el cual se carga a través de un cargador imantado por la parte trasera del reloj (donde suele estar la pila de un reloj normal).

Como ya he dicho anteriormente, existen tres modelos diferentes. Cada uno esta pensado para diferente personas. Lo cual está genial, ya que no te obliga a llevar ese modelo si o si, como les pasa a las empresas que están sacando relojes similares. Las cuales cuentan con un diseño casi único para todo su público, lo cual les limita más todavía.

iPhone 6 e iPhone 6 Plus

Como ya se llevaba mucho tiempo comentando, Apple ha confirmado dos versiones diferentes para el nuevo iPhone.

El iPhone 6, el cual tiene un tamaño de 4,7 pulgadas. Tiene una altura de 13,81 cm, un ancho de 6,7 cm, un grosor de 0,69 cm. Respecto al peso aumenta en comparación a su antecesor, con 129 g. Lo cual nos confirma como el iPhone más fino hasta ahora. La pantalla ha subido un cambio muy notable, contando con una pantalla retina HD con una resolución de la pantalla es de 1.334x750 px.

El iPhone 6 Plus, tiene un tamaño mayor, de 5,5 pulgadas, cuenta con una altura de 15,81 cm, una anchura de 7,78 cm y un grosor de 0,71 cm. La pantalla de este presenta una resolución de 1.920x1.080, superior a la de cualquier modelo anterior.


Y ambos modelos tienes estas prestaciones en común, estrena chip nuevo, el A8, con un procesador modelador M8, y 64 bits. La cámara iSight tiene un nuevo sensor con Focus Pixeles y con mejorías en el vídeo, 1.080p HD.



Y han mejorado una cosa que para mí era muy importante que mejoraran, las conexiones a las redes. Ahora han logrado que sean más rápidas y más lejanas. Porque sinceramente la conexión wifi del iPhone deja mucho que desear.

Visto el modelo del nuevo iPhone 6 Plus, con esto Apple ha querido claramente contraatacar a los smartphones de Samsung.

Supuestos iPhone 6 y iWatch

Quedan ya poco más de 20 horas para el "Gran Evento". El cual llevamos muchos "appleadictos" esperando que llegue :P

Después de miles y miles de especulaciones acerca de como sería el nuevo iPhone 6, a menos de un día de que sea presentado parece ser que este es el que más fuerte esta sonando en las redes. El cual podemos observarlo en comparación al actualmente último modelo de iPhone, el iPhone 5s.

Lo que si tenemos ya más que claro es que el nuevo iPhone 6 será más grande que el actual, rompiendo así el molde que tenía Apple respecto al tamaño de sus terminales. Al parecer quiere entrar en el mercado de los smartphones de pantalla grande.

También todo apunta a que la lente de la cámara principal estará sobrelida, algo nunca visto antes en los anteriores iPhones.

Respecto al iWatch, no han aparecido tantísimos posibles modelos como para el iPhone 6. De todos los modelos que han aparecido este diría yo que es el que más se asemeja al estilo de Apple.

Podemos ver perfectamente varios modelos diferentes, al igual que existen en los iPhones. Uno para un público más juvenil y deportivo, y el otro modelo más formal.

Yo tengo que reconocer que me ha encantado el modelo que se parece al iPhone 5s Dorado. Desde el acabo en dorado en los laterales del reloj, hasta la cuerda de cuero con el estampado de la manzana.

Lo que si me gustaría mencionar, la grandísima cantidad de modelos tantos para iPhone o iWatch que han sacado los diseñadores por su propia cuenta. Y cada vez lo hacen mucho mejor. Ya no sabes si es verdad o mentira ;)

Aunque muy pronto Tim Cook, el CEO de Apple, nos sacara de dudas.

Para la vuelta me he reforzado, ayer me compre un MacBook Pro Retina para estar a topeeee!! 

Vendí mi MacBook Air y me compre este. Tenía muchas ganas de tenerlo y para mi trabajo me viene genial.

Hoy os voy a hablar sobre el Apple Tv, ese pequeño cuadradillo negro pequeño que esconde miles de utilidades, y que en un futuro más cercano nos sorprenderá con nuevas utilidades alucinantes.

Es un dispositivo muy fácil de instalar en tu televisor, solo necesita que se conecte al televisor mediante un cable HDMI y su cable de corriente. Una vez que hagas estos pasos, solo te queda conectarlo a una red wifi, esto es muy importante, el Apple Tv sin conexión wifi no sirve, tienes que asegurarte que en el lugar de la casa donde lo vas a colocar te llegue bien la señal de wifi. Después introduce tu usuario y contraseña de Apple y listo para disfrutar!!! La instalación no supera los 5 minutos.

Cuando hayas hecho todo lo mencionado anteriormente ya tienes un mundo por descubrir por delante. Podrás conectar tanto tu iPod Touch, iPad, iPhone o Mac, mediante el AirPlay. La calidad que tiene para verse en la Tv es de 1080p, HD. Su tamaño es tan manejable que entra en la palma de la mano, ya que es un cuadradillo de 9,8 cm por 9,8 cm, y tan solamente pesa 270 gr.

Y viene con un mandoApple Mando Remote, con el que todo es mucho más fácil de manejar.

Gracias al AirPlay podremos disfrutar en nuestra Tv de las fotos del último viaje, ver videoclips, ver películas e incluso podemos jugar en la Tv a los juegos que tengamos en nuestro dispositivo. Este último punto es el que yo destaco para un futuro no muy lejano. Ya que Apple prepara dar el salto a los juegos en Tv, como ya lo han hecho Samsung o Sony, con PlayStation Tv.

Además de poder disfrutar de las cosas de tus dispositivos, el Apple Tv posee un menú principal, en el cual podemos ver:

- El apartado de películas de la biblioteca de iTunes, en ella podremos alquilar una película o bien comprarla. Hay una enorme variedad de películas diferentes.

- El apartado de canciones de la biblioteca de iTunes, esta es igual que la anterior, aquí podremos comprar las canciones sueltas o discos enteros de nuestros cantantes favoritos.

- La opción de ajustes del Apple Tv.

- Una serie de Apps integradas como por ejemplo: Youtube, Flickr, NHL, Red Bull, MLB, Apple Events, etc.

Aconsejo el Apple Tv a todo aquel que sea un amante del mundo de Apple. Si ya de por si cualquier dispositivo presenta una enorme variedad de utilidades, le sumamos las del Apple Tv ;)

Apple cambia un modelo de adaptador de corriente

Apple se ha dado cuenta que un modelo de adaptador de corriente de iPhone de 5W lanzado en Europa se sobrecalienta demasiado y lo considera que puede ser peligroso y no quieren correr riesgos. El modelo de adaptador de corriente que esta defectuoso es el "Model A1300". Este modelo de adaptador venía en las cajas de los iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 e iPhone 4S.

Para saber que modelo de adaptador tenéis, además de saber que modelo de iPhone tenéis, podéis comprobarlo en la parte que va conectada a la corriente, hay podréis leer que modelo es.

Para que dicho cambio se pueda llevar a cabo, el adaptador que entregues tiene que tener las siglas CE en gris, y que aparezca Model A1300.

Por eso mismo han iniciado una campaña en la cual si posees un cargador de este modelo, te lo cambian por el modelo nuevo, el cual no resentía este problema de sobrecalentamiento. El nuevo modelo es el "Model A1400". Este modelo de adaptador empezaron esta presente en las cajas de los iPhone 5, iPhone 5C e iPhone 5S.

Este programa de intercambio de adaptadores defectuosos comienza a parir del 18 de este mes, Junio. Para todos aquellos que tengamos uno en casa y no queráis correr riesgo, tenéis tres opciones diferentes para poder cambiarlo por el modelo nuevo.

La primera opción es la ir a la Apple Store más cercana, y comentárselo a un a un trabajador de que quieres cambiarlo y ellos ya te lo hacen allí automáticamente.

La segunda opción es la de ir a una tienda de tu proveedor de compañía móvil, en la cual hayas comprado el iPhone, como por ejemplo Vodafone, Movistar, Yoigo o Orange.

Y la tercera y última opción es la de ir a un proveedor autorizado por Apple, como por ejemplo GoldenMac.

Mi consejo personal es que si tenéis las tres opciones disponibles, no lo dudéis e ir a la Apple Store más cercana.

My personal advice is that if you have three options available, don't hesitate and go to the nearest Apple Store.

El buen trato del Genius Bar de Apple

Bajo mi punto de vista, Apple posee algo que no todas las empresas tienen. Y ese algo es fundamental para una empresa de ese gran tamaño. Os estoy hablando del servicio al público y el servicio técnico que tienen. Para mi son la cañaaa!!!

No se si alguno de ustedes habéis podido comprobarlo por vosotros mismos lo que os estoy contando. 

La semana pasada mi iPhone 5s no me iba muy bien que digamos, y decidí pedir cita para el Genius Bar, desde mi propio iPhone, en la App de "Apple Store", en mi anterior post os recomendé esta App.

Cuando llegue allí fui recibido como todo el mundo que haya entrado en una Apple Store, de una manera muy acogedora, haciendo que me sienta a gusto en todo momento. Les dije que tenía hora para el técnico, y me dijeron que esperara en una de sus mesas con MacBook que tienen para que te sea más amena la espera. Dicha espera no fue superior a 3 minutos. 

Después fui recibido por un técnico de Apple, cuyo nombre no diré sin consentimiento de él. Me pregunto que le pasaba a mi iPhone 5s, se lo conté. Hizo la sincronización con su iPad hacia mi iPhone para ver el diagnostico y vio que efectivamente no estaba correcto. Sin poner ningún tipo de pegas se dispuso a sacar un nuevo terminal para cambiármelo por el mío. Esto diréis es lo más lógico que hagan, pues no. Creo que no hace ni falta que no diga la cantidad de grandes empresas que huyen de este tipo de problemas, y nos ponen vente mil problemas para el cambio de terminal. Que si lo tienen que enviar al servicio técnico a no se donde, que si dicho proceso durara un mes, que si después de la espera tienes que pagar por la avería, etc etc.

Pues ellos como ejemplo de la mejor empresa del mundo, no hacen nada de esto. No se dedican andar con rodeos. Puede que algunos de ustedes digáis esto no es así, que algunos hayáis ido una vez y no quisieron cambiarlo. Una cosita para esas personas, estos técnicos que os digo que os atienden, no son tonto, no se creen la primera  historia que escuchan y directamente te cambian el iPhone por uno nuevo. Todo tiene que estar debidamente justificado.

Seguid así, sois los mejores ;)

From my point of view, Apple has something that not all companies have. And that something is essential for a company that large. I'm talking about service to the public and the service they have. For me is the best!!

Not is if any of you have been able to see for yourselves what I'm telling.

Last week my iPhone 5s not going well that we say, and decided to ask for an appointment to the Genius Bar, since my own iPhone in the Apple App Store, in my previous post, I recommended this App. When I get there I was greeted like everyone who has entered into an Apple Store, in a very friendly way, making that I feel at ease at all times. I told them that I had time for the technician, and they told me to wait at one of their tables with MacBook have to make you more pleasant waiting. The wait was not exceeding 3 minutes.

I was then greeted by a technician from Apple, whose name I will not say without consent of the. I wonder that it was happening to my iPhone 5s, I told. He did the synchronization with your iPad to my iPhone to see the diagnosis and he saw that he was not actually correct. Without putting any kind of stick were to get a new terminal to change it to me by my own. This will say is more logical thing to do, maybe not. I think that it does not need to not say the number of large companies who flee such problems, and we put vente thousand problems for the change of terminal. That if have to send to the service to not be where, that if this process will last a month, if after waiting you have to pay for the damage, etc etc.

So as an example of the best company in the world, they don't none of this. Engage not beat about the Bush. It can some of you say this is not the case, that some have gone once and not wanted to change it. A little something for these people, these technicians who I say unto you that you serve, they are not foolish, not to create the first story heard and directly change you iPhone with a new one. Everything has to be duly justified.

Las 10 Apps gratuitas que no pueden faltar en tu iPhone

Con este post os voy ayudar a tener vuestro iPhone, ya sea el modelo que sea, bastante completo. He elaborado una lista de las 10 aplicaciones que no deberían de faltar nunca en tu iPhone, con ellas no te faltará de nada. El orden en el que nombre las Apps no es el orden de importancia.

Y lo más importante es que las 10 Apps son totalmente gratuitas ;)

En primer lugar se encuentra la App de Buscar Mi iPhone,  desde mi punto de vista es la más fundamental de toda la lista que he elaborado. Con ella siempre podrás tener tu iPhone localizado, y en caso de robo puedes bloquearlo o enviarle un mensaje a la persona que lo tenga para que lo devuelva.

La segunda App en la lista es PhotoShop, con ella podrás retocar las fotos que hagas desde tu iPhone. Tiene un número elevado de filtros diferentes a elegir.

En tercer lugar aparece Apple Store, esta aplicación es ideal para estar siempre al día sobre todos los productos de Apple y poder comprar desde ella, como también configurarla con tu Apple Store más cercana a ti, y saber cuando son los próximos cursos gratuitos o pedir cita con el Genius Bar.

Las siguientes Apps las meto dentro de un mismo bloque, llamado "Archivos". Este bloque lo forman 3 aplicaciones, las cuales son:

Adobe Reader, esta aplicación te permite leer y almacenar archivos en PDF, cosa que viene muy bien ya que los iPhone no trae nada de serie que lee PDF.

Office Mobile, la famosa aplicación de Microsoft, que ha tenido bastante aceptación en las primeras semanas de lanzamiento. Esto viene genial para crear archivos, ya sea mediante Word, PowerPoint o Excell.

Dropbox, esta App te viene genial para destinar archivos de tu iPhone a la nube, para poder liberarte de espacio y tener más en tu dispositivo.

Y las últimas 4 Apps están integradas también en un mismo bloque, denominado "Redes Sociales". Estas aplicaciones son:

Youtube, esta aplicación no te puede faltar en tu iPhone si eres un amante de los vídeos musicales. Es impresionante el número de vídeos que posee.

Twitter, esta App cada vez es más usada por los usuarios, esta creciendo enormemente.

Facebook, y como puede faltar en tu iPhone la red social más usada del mundo, en ella puedes estar en contacto y estar al día de muchísimas noticias.

Y por último como no Whatsapp, esta es la App de mensajería instantánea favorita por la gran mayoría de usuarios y la que cuenta con el mayor número de usuarios, más de 400 millones de usuarios en el mundo.

Dos razones por las cuales no se aconseja instalar la beta de iOS 8

Como ya habréis leído en mi blog anteriormente todas las novedades que ha traído con sigo la WWDC14, en su primer día ya se publico la aparición de los dos nuevos sistemas operativos. Uno para Mac el OS X Yosemite y el iOS 8 para el resto de dispositivos de Apple.

Para este último se dijo que estaría disponible la versión beta tanto para desarrolladores como para no desarrolladores, algo totalmente nuevo.

Se que muchísimos e ustedes estaréis locos por instalaos la beta hasta que salga la versión definitiva. Pero os he de decir una noticia que igual no a todos os agradará, y es que no os aconsejo que la instaléis. Con esto no quiero perjudicar para nada la imagen de Apple ni mucho menos, ya os daréis cuenta más adelante el porque.

Existen dos motivos:

El primer motivo de ellos, es que como la propia palabra lo dice, se trata de la "beta" del iOS 8. Por lo cual la gran mayoría de las Apps no están terminadas a la adaptación del iOS 8, por tanto no os funcionara en vuestro iPhone. Si utilizas tu dispositivo móvil diariamente y le das un uso bastante continuo y dependes de el, no te lo aconsejo en absoluto esta opción de descargarte la beta. Ya que estarías sin poder utilizar un gran número de Apps cotidianas.

Y el segundo motivo, es que como he dicho anteriormente, se trata de una "beta" no de una versión terminada. Al tratarse de una beta, significa que este sistema operativo esta aún de pruebas en muchos aspectos. Por lo cual si lo instalamos y vemos que aún le faltan muchas cosas para que vaya todo bien y a eso le sumamos que la mayoría de las Apps no te van a funcionar, tendremos una visión negativa del nuevos sistema operativo de Apple. Cosa que no queremos en absoluto, más bien todo lo contrario. Por eso os aconsejo que aunque sea dolorosa la espera hasta su lanzamiento al público, no la descarguéis. Y cuando la descarguéis no la mirareis con los mismos ojos.
